Part-Time Hours, Full-Time Results: How Christine Saved 10 Hours a Week with Less Stress

Case Study Summary

As a creative business owner, Christine knew she had the talent, drive, and ideas to succeed, but her days didn’t reflect that potentia

“I was just doing things through impulse,” she recalls. “I felt like I knew I needed to do certain things, but I might not want to do it in the moment… so I’d do something else.”

For Christine, this meant working reactively instead of intentionally. She’d jump between client projects, handle tasks out of order, and often procrastinate until the stress hit.

“I wasn’t managing my time correctly,” she explains. “I didn’t have very clear priorities. I wasn’t following through with the priorities that should have been set.”

The Challenge: Procrastination & Motivation That Never Comes

I was constantly putting off work. I’d procrastinate, either because I wasn’t in the right mood, or I didn’t feel motivated, or I got stressed thinking about the work I’d have to put into it. I’d have an excuse for every task I didn’t do.

Even when she noticed patterns of procrastination and guilt she felt stuck.

“It was something that’s been ingrained in me for so long that eventually I came to think it doesn’t need to be fixed… I’ve gotten this far already, so why should I fix it?”

The result: long days, inconsistent progress, and growing frustration.

“I might treat my family a little differently because I’m annoyed at myself… or brush off my friends because I need to do this task — but then I still don’t do that task. It was costing me a lot.”

The Turning Point: Creating Structure and Accountability

Everything changed when Christine joined the 1:1 Productivity Coaching Program.

Through the program, she transformed her productivity by replacing procrastination with a new personalized productive systems that adjust to her needs.

The coaching experience felt supportive and judgment-free, designed to help Christine reflect on her progress with clarity rather than guilt. Each session focused on understanding what worked, what didn’t, and how to adjust moving forward. Creating a structured yet compassionate environment for consistent growth.

By combining weekly strategy sessions and exercises like the Priority Pyramid and the To-Do List Method, Christine built confidence in her performance and the self-trust to do it again.

“When you don’t have a coach for that, it’s very easy to excuse yourself,” she says. “Like, ‘I didn’t do my to-do list today, but that’s okay.’ And then the next day you don’t do it again because there were no consequences.”

The new structure allowed Christine to work with greater efficiency and ease. With clear priorities and daily plans in place, she began completing projects on a faster timeline and feeling genuinely satisfied at the end of each day. The sense of order and follow-through replaced her stress with calm confidence and a renewed sense of control.

The Coaching Experience: Where Productivity Feels Peaceful

“Accountability is one of the best things,” Christine emphasizes. “It’s very easy to slip back into old habits. If I can forgive myself one day for not doing what I said I’d do, then that can happen again tomorrow or two weeks later.” She explains that coaching helped her get “my act together and doing things on my to-do list,” adding that “part of me didn’t think I’d ever get past these old habits of productivity”

By staying consistent with weekly check-ins and daily planning, Christine started to rebuild her confidence from the inside out.

“..when I do these tasks that I told myself I would do…I feel good about myself overall. Like, I feel happier... It builds that self-trust that I can do what I said I would do.”

She began ending each week with clarity, rather than guilt.

“It builds that confidence, which is something I was struggling with a long time ago... I feel a lot happier every day knowing that, yes, I can do what I wanted to do.”

Part-Time Hours, Full-Time Results

Just weeks into coaching, Christine began seeing measurable shifts in both her time and mindset.

“I would say I’ve been saving about 10 hours a week,” she shares. “Most of that came from me stressing about the tasks I hadn’t done, doom scrolling because of the stress, and avoiding doing what needs to be done.”

By eliminating those patterns, Christine gained not just hours — but peace.

“I feel a lot more organized. I wake up encouraged to get up every morning because the night before I set a to-do list and have a reminder that says, ‘Check your to-do list.’”

Her days are now guided by structure, but with flexibility and flow.

“It’s a balance that works well for me…Instead of working purely on impulse, I have an organized system…”

On a happiness scale, her growth is clear:

“Before, I would say I was a five. I thought I was happy, but I was settling for mediocrity… Compared to now, I would say an eight or nine. I’m pretty happy. I can trust myself a lot more, and overall I feel happier knowing I’m growing and that I can do all these things.”
